Reconnect Your Google Account to TrueReview to Resume Review Notifications

Why You’re Seeing This Message

Google only allows one platform at a time to be subscribed to receive new review notifications for your Google Business Profile. If you connect your Google account to another platform (such as another review or marketing tool), that platform takes over the connection.

When this happens, TrueReview will no longer receive your latest reviews, and your dashboard will stop updating with new Google review activity.

To continue seeing the latest Google reviews inside TrueReview, you need to reconnect your Google account through TrueReview. This allows us to take over the subscription again and resume syncing new reviews to your dashboard.

How to Reconnect Your Google Account in TrueReview

Follow these simple steps to reconnect your Google account and resume syncing your latest reviews:


Step 1: Go to Settings

• Log into your TrueReview account.

• At the top of the page, click on “Settings.”


Step 2: Manage Google Connection

• At the top of the Settings page, locate your Google Business Profile connection.

• Click the three dots next to it and select “Locations.”

• Alternatively, click the “RECONNECT” button from the notification banner on your dashboard.


Step 3: Reconnect Your Google Business Profile

• Find the location you’d like to reconnect.

• Click “Select” next to the Google Business Profile you want to reauthorize.


That’s it!

TrueReview will now resume receiving new review notifications from Google. As soon as a new review is posted, it will appear on your dashboard—and if you have notifications enabled, you’ll also receive an email alert.
