A floating review widget puts your best reviews in front of every visitor, on every page. It sits quietly in the corner of your site and expands to show real customer reviews — one of the easiest ways to display your Google reviews on your website and build trust with new visitors, without taking up space in your layout or requiring any design work.
Want to add a floating widget to the bottom of your website that shows your latest reviews, or reviews you specify, like this?
Before you start: Make sure you've connected at least one review source (like Google) so your widget has reviews to display. You can connect sources from your Settings page using the Add Accounts button. Don't have one connected yet? You can still set everything up — just connect a source before you publish.
Access your widgets
Head to your widget manager by opening the menu dropdown and clicking Review Widgets — or click the Review Widgets icon from your dashboard.
On the Review Widgets page, you'll see several widget options. Click Manage next to Floating Reviews.
Edit your floating reviews widget
You'll see a live preview of the widget on the right side of your screen:
Make your customizations from the left sidebar. As you change settings, the preview updates so you can see exactly how your widget will look:
Customization options
Customization is organized into the categories below.
REVIEW WEBSITES TO DISPLAY
Start with your review website connections. Check the box next to each source you'd like to pull reviews from and display in the widget.
Need to connect a new source? Head to your Settings page and click Add Accounts.
REVIEW FILTERING
Choose which types of reviews to display — for example, only your highest-rated reviews.
WIDGET POSITION
Choose whether the widget sits in the bottom left or bottom right of your site. Then use Side Spacing and Bottom Spacing to fine-tune its exact placement.
Examples:
Widget positioned to the left
Widget positioned to the right
WIDGET SIZE
Choose between a Small or Large floating widget.
DISPLAY STYLE
Choose whether the widget automatically cycles through your recent reviews every 5 seconds, or shows only your latest review.
HEADER OPTIONS
These options control the elements that appear on the widget's closed state — what visitors see before they click to expand it.
REVIEW CARD OPTIONS
These options control the elements that appear when the widget is open and showing a review.
ACCENT COLOR & FONT
Use the Accent Color and Font options to match the widget to your brand colors and styling.
WIDGET VISIBILITY
Use the Widget Targeting options to control where your widget appears.
Choose On all pages to show the widget everywhere the widget code is installed. For example, if you add the code to your global custom code (in the site's head), the widget will appear on every page.
Or choose On specific pages based on URL to include, exclude, or set conditional visibility for specific pages.
Choose which device sizes the widget appears on. For example, you can display it on Desktop and Tablet but hide it on Mobile.
💡 Tip: Want to preview the widget before it goes live? Uncheck all device sizes to hide it from visitors while you finish setting up, then re-enable them when you're ready.
Finally, choose how many seconds to wait before the widget appears after your page loads.
GET EMBED CODE
Once your widget looks the way you want, click Get Embed Code, copy the code, and add it to your website wherever you'd like the widget to appear.
You're all set!
Your floating widget is now live and showing your Google reviews to visitors. You can return to this page anytime to adjust the styling, filtering, or targeting.
