Inline Feedback Settings

When sending email review requests in TrueReview, customers will see the Contact Types you selected in your settings after they click the button in the email.

You can also choose to display review websites, reactions, or surveys directly inside your emails, without requiring customers to click a button first.

To update this, go to the first email in your drip campaign and click the Contact Type tab.

By default, emails use a Button as the call to action. When customers click the button, they’ll see the Contact Type selected in your settings.

To show review websites, reactions, or surveys directly inside the email, select the Inline Feedback option.

Now, based on the Contact Type selected in your settings, the corresponding review websites, reactions, or surveys will appear directly in the email.

Here's how each contact type looks line inside your emails.

Direct Link:

When the Redirect option is selected as the Contact Type, only the redirect website will be displayed in the email.

Reactions:

The Top Text and Bottom Text are linked to your Contact Type settings. To update them in your emails, edit the text in your Contact Type settings.

You can also change the background color by opening the Styling tab in your email editor.

Survey:

For single-question surveys, the response is recorded as soon as the customer taps a star or number rating. Unlike opening a survey from a button, customers do not need to click Submit Survey afterward.

If you want customers to confirm their response before submitting, uncheck the Submit on rating tap option.

Important Note: Active campaigns will continue using the contact type that was originally selected when the request was sent.

For scheduled emails, the call-to-action format will use the latest campaign setting at the time the email is sent.

For example, if your active email is currently set to use the Button call to action, but you later change it to Inline Feedback while emails are still scheduled for that campaign, those scheduled emails will be sent using the updated Inline Feedback format.
